Day 01: Arrive Guwahati On arrival at Guwahati airport you will be welcomed by our tour executive. After that drive to city and check-in to the hotel. Overnight stay at Guwahati.
Day 02: Guwahati - Kaziranga National Park (225 kms) After an early breakfast visit to Kamakhya Temple, a Major Hindu Pilgrimage site. During the festival of Ambubashi more than a million devotees throng this holy place. Return back to the hotel after paying homage to the mother goddess Kamakhya and take a drive to the famous Kaziranga National park. On arrival check-in to the Jungle resort. In the afternoon visit nearby Tea Estate. Overnight stay at Kaziranga.
Day 03: Kaziranga National Park Early morning explore the central Range of Kaziranga National Park on Elephant Safari. Kaziranga National Park is spread over an area of 430 sq. kms consisting of dense forest, rugged reeds, marshes and shallow pools. Elephant grass grows up to a few meters making it an ideal grazing ground for the famed One Horned Rhinoceros. On return explore the eastern range on a jeep safari. Late afternoon proceed to Western Range of Kaziranga National Park on jeep safari. Overnight stay at Kaziranga.
Day 04: Kaziranga National Park – Shillong (280 kms) After an early breakfast drive take a drive to Shillong. En-route visit Borapani Umiam Lake, a majestic placid lake with its surrounding sylvan hills. On arrival check in to the hotel. In the afternoon visit the local market and nearby places of tourist interest. Overnight stay at the hotel in Shillong.
Day 05: Shillong – Cherrapunjee (60 kms) After an early breakfast drive to Cherrapunjee, the wettest place in the world. The beautiful waterfall-Noh-ka-likai is at Cherrapunjee you can also explore some of the caves in and around Cherrapunjee. Return to Shillong, en-route visit Elephanta falls and Shillong peak for some breathtaking views. Overnight stay at the hotel in Shillong.
Day 06: Shillong – Guwahati (100 kms) Morning sightseeing at Shillong, visit Ward Lake and Hydari Park. Admire the beauty of Shillong, also called Scotland of the East. It is erstwhile capital of undivided Assam and present Northeast and home to the Khasi highland tribes. Late afternoon drive back to Guwahati (100 kms). In the evening take a cruise on Mighty Brahmaputra River. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 07: Departure After breakfast the whole day is free for leisure till you have been transferred to the airport to board the flight for onward destination.
