Skiing
Skiing courses are conducted at Patnitop in the months of January and February. During the winter months, there are introductory courses for tourists/beginners at the gentle gradient slopes of Patnitop. At Madhatop (5 km from Patnitop on Sanasar Road) excellent possibilities for all kind of skiing exist.
Vaishno Devi
The holy cave shrine of Vaishno Devi is nestled in a beautiful recess of the Trikuta Mountains forming a part of the lower Himalayas. It is located 61 km north of Jammu at a height of 5,200 feet above the sea level in the state of Jammu and Kashmir. In the cave there are images of three deities viz. the Mahakali.
Sudh Mahadev
Sudh Mahadev is well known for its archaeological importance, as a great pilgrimage centre and as a charming natural site. It stands on the banks of the holy Dewak River, held by some to be as sacred as the Ganges.

The pride of Patnitop is its 600-year-old Naag (cobra) temple. Though small in size, it reflects the faith and reverence shared by millions of Indians all over. The evenings in Patnitop are quite cold. The mountains are covered by fog and visibility can drop to a mere 10 feet.
